Got Hair?

WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR?!

The simple answer to that question would be that I shaved it off. I shaved it not because I’m tired of Rockstar making my hair disappear during the win screen, but I shaved it for a special cause. In the United States and also in other countries, the month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Thousands of women and even some men die from breast cancer each year. Although many people are already aware of what breast cancer is, not many take the necessary actions to detect the disease in its early stages. Early treatment of breast cancer significantly increases a person’s chance on surviving the disease. I don’t know anyone personally that has breast cancer, but I’m sure some of you have someone in your life or a friend of a friend that may have breast cancer. If they start noticing signs of cancer and they have not been checked out yet, I would suggest you encourage them to get screened. A simple screening from a doctor may save their life.

The Proposition

In the United States, NFL players wear pink gear on game-day all throughout the month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness. This gave me the idea to wear pink clothes and shave my head as a way to show breast cancer awareness in GTA Online. My proposition to the crew is to do the same as I did, shave your head and wear pink for the month of October. Wearing pink shouldn’t be too hard since that is our crew color, but you might have a hard time shaving your beautiful hair. If the boss can rock the bald cut every day, you can totally do it for a month 🙂 If you feel strongly against doing this, then you don’t have to. I’m just doing this for myself, but it would also be great if others joined me. Personally, I think we would look badass terrorizing the streets of Los Santos with our bald cut and pink attire.

  1. That’s a great idea, I’m going to do it asap. I’m actually working on a fundraiser all this week, which is why I’ve been so busy, to find a cure for cancer, so I’m in.
