PC – Minecraft Highlight: Riotville

It’s been a long time since I’ve last updated the log, however that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy. In fact we’ve been so busy that we have not only completed the construction of Riotville, but also started working on building a tropical paradise on a large artificial island a few miles off the coast. But more on that later. Right now it’s time to show you all what we’ve been working on for two months. Ladies and non-biological ladies, I present to you, our capitol, RIOTVILLE!

Map of Riotville

A map of Riotville and it’s surroundings. The green marker represents the location of the map.

Bird's-eye view of Riotville

A bird’s-eye view of Riotville. The city is divided into four districts. The North-Eastern part is the peasant part of town (even though it has a fancy ancient Roman public bath). The South-Eastern part is the Adventure District. The town’s military is housed in the barracks next to the guard tower. Next to it is the Adventure Club, where weary adventurers can have a drink, a warm meal and a good night’s sleep. Across from the club (by the tents and the big hole) is the mine entrance, which leads to the underground river. The South-Western part of town is the Commercial District. Most of the shops are located there, as well as the town hall. The town hall houses multiple facilities, a library where aspiring writers can write books for others to read, a Fleeca bank branch with a vault that has a six digit redstone combination lock and an administrations office to keep track of things like ownership papers, laws, regulations and other bureaucratic shiz. The North-Western part of Riotville is the cultural district. Over there you will find a 1:1 recreation of the Globe Theatre. The square shaped building is the Pussi Riot Museum. In it are mementos of our adventures, like The Sword Of Disappointment (Found whilst looting an entire dungeon with no significant loot whatsoever). Other notable buildings there are the church and Statue Square. To the left of Riotville is David’s (ExLee) farm. A path there leads up to Pussi Castle

Riotville Market Square

The market square, which is the centre of the town. Note the map below the pickaxe statue.

Pussi Riot Museum

The Pussi Riot Museum and Statue Square. Besides mementos the museum also features and endermen art show. Miguel and Giuseppe move blocks around in their exhibition… it’s a modern art thing, it probably has some meaning, but we wouldn’t get it.

Molly's Mill

Molly went full Dutch here and built a windmill. He lives there now. He now spends his days walking on wooden shoes and growing cheese whilst never taking his finger out of the dyke (pun intended).

Pussi Riot Castle

Pussi castle, a communal project. It’s built on a high mountain. When you stand on the North-Western tower, you can see both Riotville and the HMS Tolokonnikova, which ferries between Riotville Harbour and the island state of Grodyssia. It may be a small castle, but it’s armed to the teeth and houses luxurious quarters, a keep, barracks, stables and a dungeon.

Going down

The entrance to the underground river.

Underground lake

Although technically the first bit is a lake.

Dungeon Bridge

The bridge to the the Riotville Dungeon, which functions as a portal hub. In the teleporter room players can use buttons connected to command blocks to get teleported to cool biomes millions of blocks away. The current farthest destination is a mesa biome 30,000,000 blocks (18,641 miles) away. It would normally take 116 days of continuous walking to get there. Another biome included is an Ice Spikes biome located 15,000,000 million blocks (9,320.5 miles) away. Each destination has it’s own teleporter that can take players back to the teleporter room.Teleporter room

The Prismarena

Slightly further down the river is the arena. In here players can fight against (holographic) mobs in the PvE arena or other players in the PvP arena, as pictured below.PvP Arena

River 1

The river goes on…

River 2

And on. The river itself is about two miles long… for now anyway. At the end is a Nether portal. The portal will take you to a savezone within the Nether.

That’s all for now folks! It’s time to set sail in search for new lands, but no matter how many houses we’ll build, no matter how beautiful the places we’ll discover, Riotville will always be our home. If you’d like to get involved, send me, Grody, a PM on the Social Club and I’ll get you sorted. Okay before I go, I’ll give you guys a little sneak peek of what’s to come šŸ˜‰
